For all you glam gals out there who are tired of wimpy lashes, I have found the solution: DiorShow Mascara. I am the type of girl who loves major volume when it comes to her lashes and this mascara gets the job done…and then some! DiorShow is the favorite mascara among many celebrities, including supermodel, Gisele Bundchen. This amazing mascara was also recognized as one of the “Dancing with the Stars” make-up must-haves by the show’s chief make-up artist, Melanie Mills. The large brush allows for easy application and there is a subtle hint of fragrance in the mascara, which smells quite yummy. I am even able to apply my new favorite mascara without a mirror! I bought my DiorShow in rich black, but it is also available in chestnut and blue. The mascara comes off just as easily as it goes on, but stays put when you want it to and does not flake. Even though I don’t think you’ll need it, the mascara is available in waterproof as well. Although the mascara is a little pricey, at $24 a tube, the bang is definitely worth the buck—trust me, you won’t regret it.
Good luck!
Lily

Hey girls! I couldn’t help but comment upon the Estee Lauder Mascara ad in this month’s edition of InStyle. So it features 5 amazing new mascaras stepping on the toes of our website’s intension. I.E. giving you options for every mascara you could ever want. Let’s go down the list.
“Power Styled” with TurboLash- the First Ever Vibrating Wand in the make up world
“Curvaceous” Sumptuous - Bold Volume Lifting Mascara
“Full Volume” MagnaScope - Maximum Volume Mascara
“Extra Long” Double Wear – Zero-Smudge Lengthening Mascara
“Defined” More Than Mascara – Moisture-Binding Mascara
Ok ladies I can’t even pick just one. The most intriguing goes to Power styled- that seems dangerous since I have trouble not poking my eye with a still wand. Then Full Volume seems to be the most demanded on our sight. Widening eyes are flirty and we want them. Defined also seems in popular demand for the eh-hem older crowd trying to lie through their eyes. But I personally want to try every single one of these mascaras. Please write back if you have tried any of the above!

Smudges… obnoxious and makes every girl look tired and old. HOW DO WE STOP THE MADNESS!? It should start with the powder foundation and end with careful bottom lash applictaion.
1st-Dust a powder foundation under the eyes instead of a cream base. This way the wet paints won’t attract each other and mix
2nd-Optional step, but you can put eyeshadow beneath the bottom lashes to keep your lashes off your skin, try a light, highlighting color to make your eyes look wider and more awake!
3rd- Apply mascara on top and either blink slightly to get the bottom lashes, or don’t cover your entire bottom lash line. The longer the bottom lashes, the more likely they will flake and smudge all over your under-eyes.
4th- DON’T RUB YOUR EYES! Come on ladies- this is the number 1 reason why it’s happening! Drink a Diet Coke if you’re that tired. Beauty over comfort ladies. Our grandmothers even followed that rule.
I hope these tips helped! No more tired looking smudges please.

Hey chicks!
Did you know that mascara brushes can be just as important as the formulation of the mascara itself? Many top companies actually patent their brush shapes, but not their formulas.
The rule of thumb is: Mascara wands with closer bristles allow for a thicker application; longer bristles are better for sheer, natural-looking coats to separate and define lashes.

OK girls… I don’t know if it was my last blog on fake lashes, but I’ve been TOTALLY inspired by a new look!
Theme: Cat Eyes. How to? Follow instructions:
1. Either use liquid liner or a self-sharpened eyeliner that’s black as night
2. Attach false lashes only to corner and use an eyelash curler and then mascara to tie it all together.
3. No lower lash liner! But yes to smoky eye shadow!
4. Nude face-no blush, it distracts and looks a little over the top
5. Red lips or nude lips.
6. Slick perfected hair or the classic poof
7. Go out on the town for the night!
I hope you love this night look as much as I do and I’m anxious to hear how your scandalous night went!
Love,
Chloe

Hey bloggers! My name is Audrey. I’ll be joining Chloe in sharing mascara tips, tricks, and stories with you all.
So I used to be a very basic mascara user, I used mascara everyday but did not prime or curl. In fact, I wasn’t even sure why curling was all that necessary, until I tried it. I discovered that curling your lashes can make quite the difference. Paired with the right mascara, curling can make your lashes look full and give them outstanding volume and curl.
Here is a quick How-To: With an eyelash curler, clamp the lashes near the root, hold for 20-30 second. If you are curling lashes after applying mascara, make sure the mascara is dry before curling. Wet lashes tend to stick to the curler’s trough pads and can lead to damage or loss of lashes.
Make sure to search for your own perfect mascara and buy it here on 6chicks.com so that you too can discover the beauty of a curler and the perfect mascara to create the perfect look!

Ok ladies, it’s wedding season (YAY!) and that means looking your most fabulous-unless you are outshining the bride, or are stuck with a hideous bridesmaid dress…
So the question comes up- fake lashes or no? I personally agree that for an event, like a wedding, where there will be TONS of pictures taken, fake lashes are a do. But here are some tips:
1. No fake lash eyelids- I mean you don’t need an entire set of new eyelashes! Go for two or three lashes on the outside edge of your eyes. Bottom lashes too.
2. Less is more. Please do not over do the butterfly look. Just a few lashes to glam up your look for the night. Remember to avoid the rows-o-lashes.
3. Still use the mascara ladies! This will help blend the fake long ones into your natural lashes and will avoid a rainbow affect of lashes.
4. Check your lashes every 3-4 hours. They might have slipped and you can’t blow your cover! The mascara should hold them in place, but not if you jiggled the wand while applying.
I hope this helped!
Happy Wedding Season!

1. Wand Love – You love one particular mascara wand but it belongs to another mascara? KEEP USING IT! Simply clean off the wand with warm water, let it dry and then reuse.
2. Removal - Try using Vaseline when removing mascara – it’s gentle, adds nutrients and it’s quick and easy!
3. Be electric – Colored mascara is probably not the best bet for the office, however color will certainly give you life at dinner or a night out.
4. Primer – Just like painting a wall, primer goes on first and this certainly applies to lashes as well. Primer is a sure bet to make your lashes shine.
5. Wiggle – Wiggle the wand from base to tip. The wiggle separates, making your lashes full and beautiful.
And, who knew? The small bristles are actually for the tips of your lashes and the larger bristles are for the base of your lashes.
Of course, remember NOT all mascara is on level playing field. Mascara is extremely personal and there’s only one site that guides you to Your Perfect Mascara: www.6chicks.com

Another new mascara ladies. CoverGirl of course making a comeback with a million new mascaras for the girls not afraid to make a statement (in a classy way of course). New Define-A-Lash volume mascara is where it’s at ladies! It is true to its name. Not only does it make your lashes thicker, it separates and lengthens! I love how full my lashes look in this paint. The only unusual aspect of this mascara is the unique tip of the wand. It’s almost like a vase shape, but must have something to do with the separating technique. This mascara doesn’t flake either like most of those thickening mascaras. You have to try it girls! You can’t miss its metallic pink tube and magnifying tip. CoverGirl did it again!

Hey mascara queens! I’ve got a new one for everyone to try. It’s the CoverGirl exact eyelights! Very cool effect for the eye catchers. I was a little hesitant thinking I was going to put flakes of glitter and gob on my eyelashes… but it looks much classier than that. It’s not just an evening look either! I chose to wear it with fun spring eye shadows for a fresh new look. I love how subtle the detail is. Goodbye jet-black eyelashes from the winter- Hello color catching eyelights!
The best part about this mascara line is that they have a different tone for each eye color! Everyone can find her perfect complimenting highlight. Check it out and let me know how you like it!
