Make-up helps me accent my positive features which helps me feel confident
both in and out of the office. Feeling confident that I look my best
allows me to concentrate on being my best, most competent leader in
the workplace.
And, as a single career girl I want to look my best. You never know…you
might meet Mr. Right at happy hour after work…or meet your next
employer.
I usually wear foundation and light powder to make my skin look smooth.
I use neutral tones of eye shadow usually colors in the brown, toast
and shell families. Mascara is a must for my small eyes as is blush
in the winter. I also wear lipstick, every day, mostly in the brownish
red family. Recently I’ve started using Chanel brow shaper which
gives my eye area that finished, polished look.
COLORS:
I’m a winter so, my favorite colors to wear are black, white,
charcoal, gray, pink, and red. Almost any other colors makes me look
like I have the flu!
LIKES:
I like feeling pulled together in terms of clothes and make-up that can
easily transition from work to play. I also love those rare nights home
when I can get organized…if my make-up brushes are clean, I know
I am feeling pretty organized!
DISLIKES:
I don’t like woman who judge other’s appearances. Most people
try to be their best and deserve encouragement.
FAVORITE PEOPLE:
Tom Friedman (he is smart!) He’s thinking about the long-term
health of the country
Mayor Michael Bloomberg. He’s runs New York City with the saavy
of a very successful businessman combined with the compassion of a religious
leader…a very rare combination
Andre Agassi. His personal dedication to achieving his goals is an inspiration
to people of all ages.
COSMETICS:
Right now, I can’t live without the Bobbi Brown Shadow Basics
Palette. The neutral eye shadows come in a small compact. I also love
their foundation stick and liquid foundation. Both are easy to apply.
My favorite lip color is Bobbi Brown’s Rum Raisin combined with
a glossing finish!
